Last fall, we were thrilled to launch Château de Nalys in the U.S. with the Guigal family. While Guigal is often considered to be the The King of the North (ern Rhone), the family is no stranger to the wines in the southern region and has produced a Châteauneuf-du-Pape since the winery was founded in 1946. Marcel and Philippe Guigal searched the area for years before finding Nalys, which they acquired in 2017. Through extensive investment in the cellars and replanting the vineyards, the terroirs of Nalys realize a dream spanning three generations to join this leading prestigious and historic appellation.
And now, the Guigals have revealed a new Château de Nalys website to better showcase the tremendous beauty of the land and its property. The gorgeous vineyard shots and imagery of the estate speak for themselves, and the in depth background of the property – steeped in 4 centuries of history – is worth learning about. Most importantly, the website is a great resource to learn about the Château de Nalys Grand Vin and Saintes Pierres wines.
Mark our words, Château de Nalys will become the benchmark of Châteauneuf-du-Pape just as it is in Côte-Rôtie at Château d’Ampuis.
